This position is at a single provider Rural Health Clinic located 1.5 hours SW of San Antonio, and has been operational for 49 years.

This position is ideal for a highly motivated Advance Practice Provider who is comfortable working independently. The Supervising Physician is not on site, but available by phone for consultation and collaboration.

Full time (4 days 30+ hours) primary care role. No nights, no weekends, no on call.

Provider must be passionate about providing exceptional care to patients of all ages. (Over 95 % adult) Our goal is to provide efficient and compassionate health care to the community we serve.

Clinic is currently available for purchase by a qualified PA/NP Provider who has the desire to own his/her own practice.

Responsibilities and duties include:

*  Conduct patient assessments including medical histories and physical exams.

*  Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses.

* Develop and implement patient management plans.

*  Prescribe medications and therapies as appropriate.

*  Order and interpret diagnostic tests including lab and imaging studies.

*  Educate patients and family about health conditions and preventive care.

*  Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient management.

*  Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

*  Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous education.

COMPENSATION

* Competitve base salary

   $120,000-140,000 commensurate with experience

EDUCATION

* Graduate of accredited PA or NP Program

*  Experience 2-5 years

* Certifications:

   PA or NP certification

   DEA eligible
