Position Summary
The Family Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive primary care services for patients across the lifespan while promoting wellness, preventing disease, and managing acute and chronic medical conditions.
This position offers the opportunity to practice evidence-based medicine in a collaborative environment where patient relationships are valued and providers are supported.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and injuries
Manage chronic medical conditions
Perform comprehensive physical examinations
Conduct Medicare Annual Wellness Visits
Provide preventive healthcare services
Perform women's and men's health evaluations
Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing
Prescribe medications in accordance with Missouri law
Educate patients regarding health promotion and disease prevention
Coordinate care with specialists and community resources
Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Requirements
Qualifications Required
Graduate of an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program
Current Missouri APRN license (or eligibility)
National Certification (AANP or ANCC)
DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
Current BLS certification
Preferred
Family Medicine or Primary Care experience
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong clinical judgment
Positive, team-oriented attitude
Passion for patient-centered care
